Rutgers has a new defensive coordinator in place as this season will see a different person heading up the defense. Joe Harasymiak has taken over for former DC Robb Smith, who left for the same role at Duke after spending the past two seasons on Greg Schiano’s staff. That raises the question of whether there could be changes heading into the 2022 season.
INDIANAPOLIS — The first time P.J. Fleck faced Rutgers as a head coach, he used his postgame press conference as an infomercial for Greg Schiano, another voice lobbying the Scarlet Knights to bring his former boss back to Piscataway to revive the program his Golden Gophers had just finished stomping.
