Jay White will be defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door. White stated on Dynamite last week that he will not be giving a title shot to either Hangman Page or Adam Cole. He will be defending the title on the show, however, it's just not clear who his opponent will be.

According to PWInsider, due to White’s busy schedule in Japan, there is currently no possibility to use him on Impact programming on a regular basis. This is comparable to the reasons behind Jonah’s departure from the company.
