Jason Richardson offers gravity-defying sweeps and insane two-handed tapping aplenty in new single, Ishimura

After teaming up with Polyphia axeman Tim Henson for a dazzling new single, Upside Down, last month, Jason Richardson has offered up another shred-heavy track, Ishimura. Like Upside Down, the song again features Luke Holland on drums, laying down laser-precise beats behind Richardson's stunning seven-string guitar work, which ranges from weighty low-register riffs, fiery two-handed tapping, out-of-this-world time signature-fluid sweeps and even the odd Gojira-style pick scrape.

Jason Richardson, Tim Henson to release collaborative single, Upside Down

All That Remains electric guitar player Jason Richardson has joined forces with Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson for a new single, Upside Down. Also set to feature Luke Holland on drums, the song will arrive on February 18, Richardson announced in a tweet. He also provided a tantalizing link to the song's video, which – until, obviously, February 18 – merely displays a shot of the two mighty guitar talents in action.

Two modern day guitar heroes in the making have teamed up for a new track due out later this month. To that end, All That Remains guitarist Jason Richardson has tapped Polyphia guitarist Tim Henson to guest on his new song “Upside Down“, which will be released on February 18th. Richardson once again had drummer Luke Holland (ex-The Word Alive, etc.) sit behind the kit for that track.
