Another tough break for Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins. Once again, Jenkins made a public appeal to the league on Monday, saying that he thought Jaren Jackson Jr. was fouled on a 3-pointer by Draymond Green at the end of Game 4, and that he’d be “curious” to see what the NBA thought on the last two minute report.

Jackson was a force on the defensive end for the Grizzlies in the loss, racking up multiple blocks for the seventh time in 10 playoff contests. He also led Memphis with 21 points despite missing all seven of his three-point attempts and shooting just 7-for-21 from the field overall. Jackson will need to continue putting up big production if Memphis is to overcome its current 3-1 series deficit, especially if Ja Morant (knee) remains unable to play.

Jackson posted 33 points (10-18 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 7-9 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist and one block in 31 minutes during Sunday's 117-116 loss to the Warriors. One of the reasons Minnesota was able to hang around in Round 1 was Jackson's perpetual foul trouble. He picked up at least five fouls in five of the six games but was able to stay on the floor Sunday against Golden State's jumpshot-oriented attack. In 31 minutes of action, Jackson notched his second straight double-double (he had 18 points and 14 boards in Game 6 against Minnesota) and worked his way to the free-throw line nine times. The big man's six made threes tied his season high, which he originally set during Memphis' record-setting, 152-79 win over Oklahoma City back on Dec. 2.

The Memphis Grizzlies, fresh off an epic, 26-point come-from-behind win in Game 3, are feeling confident with a 2-1 series lead heading in to Game 4 on April 23. A big reason the team has managed to cobble together a couple of wins despite poor play has been Brandon Clarke, the springy third-year forward out of Gonzaga.

Jackson recorded his second-highest three-point total of the season to help Memphis even the series. While his numbers haven't been off the charts, the fourth-year forward remains a defensive force for one of the league's best young teams.

Jackson was efficient from the floor while filling the stat sheet in a game where the entire Memphis offense struggled. He's lacked consistency at times this season but seems to be trending in the right direction of late, as he has scored in double digits in each of his last five appearances.

Jackson did his damage quickly in the blowout win, putting on an impressive two-way performance against Indiana's soft frontcourt. Notably, the performance marked his 13th straight with at least one block, and he's scored at least 18 points in three of the past four games.

Jackson didn't have his best shooting performance, but he still delivered a solid stat line. It would be fair to treat him as Memphis' third-best scoring weapon behind Ja Morant and Desmond Bane at the moment. He's averaging 13.6 points per game over his last 10 contests, though he's shooting 40.2 percent from the field and a meager 25 percent from three-point range in that span.

Jackson totaled 22 points (7-13 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 24 minutes during Tuesday's 132-111 victory over the Pelicans. Jackson turned things around after a poor showing in his previous performance, making the most of his time on the floor despite the blowout. Outside of a few subpar efforts, Jackson has been able to successfully rebuild his reputation after sitting out the majority of the 2020-21 season. With the Grizzlies pushing hard down the stretch, his production should be sustainable ROS.
