James Richard "Ricky" Flood

James Richard “Ricky” Flood, Sr., age 67 of Radcliff, KY passed away July 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Hardinsburg, KY on September 8, 1954, son of the late Harold and Mary Agnes Kannapel Flood. Ricky retired from Metalsa where he was a Quality Coordinator and was currently working part time at Rural King. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling, watching westerns and UK basketball and football. Ricky was a quiet and polite man and always had a smile on his face.

James Richard “Jim” Tennison

James Richard “Jim” Tennison, 92, was born on Feb. 18, 1930, and passed away July 8 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Mt. Vernon. He married Mary Margarete Long on Feb. 2, 1952. To this union were born three daughters, Linda Redshaw of Purdy, Mary (John) Tyhurst of Kingwood, Texas, Darlene Champion of Monett, and one son Kenneth Lee Tennison. Other survivors include a sister, Helen Nicklas, 27 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a host of friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Ella and Lowell Tennison, wife Mary, his siblings Roberta Turgeon, Barbara Daniels, and George Tennison, his infant son Kenneth Lee Tennison, and his grandson Matt Tyhurst.

James Richard “Jim” Tennison died Friday, July 8, at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Mt. Vernon. Family and friends are welcome to come and go Tuesday evening at the funeral home until 7:30 p.m. Family visitation will be held at the Temple Baptist Church in Monett, on Wednesday, July 13, at 10 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. under the direction of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Kings Prairie Cemetery.

James Richard “Dick” Saville of Sterling, VA passed away peacefully on April 12, 2022 after a long illness of Alzheimer’s. Dick was born on August 31, 1941 in Winchester, VA. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edith Saville; his children, Robin (Todd) Mumpower of Purcellville, Sandra (Russ) Meadows of Purcellville and David (Kim) Saville of Berryville; and his grandchildren, Jessica Pullis, Scott Mumpower, Adam Pullis, Troy Mumpower, Taylor Sears and Payton Saville. He is also survived by his sister, Bonnie Kohne of Wardensville, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Maxine Saville of Wardensville, WV, his sister, Connie Rinard of Winchester, VA and his brother, Bob Saville of Wardensville, WV.

James Richard “Jim” Powers

James Richard “Jim” Powers, 80, of Owensboro, passed away April 22, 2022, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born April 11, 1942, in Owensboro, to the late Maxwell Powers and Carmel Wathen Powers. Jim was of the Catholic faith, graduated from Owensboro Catholic High School, and attended Brescia University. He retired from G.E. and M.P.D. as an electronics specialist. He was a proud Navy veteran and was stationed in San Diego and Scotland. Jim enjoyed genealogy and being outdoors, whether it be walking his dog, Moses, watching birds, fishing, or tending to his rose bushes. More than anything, he loved his family and spending time with them.

Obituary - Dr. James Richard "Jim" Hughes

James Richard "Jim" Hughes, M.D., passed away at his home on the evening of Wednesday, March 2, 2022, after a long battle with ALS. He was 69 years old. Jim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kimberlee; three daughters, Heather Scarborough of Statesboro, Ga.; Leeann Vrabel (Jeff) of Cupertino, Ca.; and Lauren Hughes of Washington, D.C.; four grandchildren, Blake Neighbour, Jacob Vrabel, Hannah Maylee Neighbour and Kieran Vrabel; four siblings, Tom Hughes (Debbie), Ruth Hughes, Kathy Bilz (Joe) and Mary Maxey (Rich); and many nieces and nephews.

Body James Richard (Rick) Todd passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, at Ray County Memorial Hospital. Rick was born May 2, 1953, in Excelsior Springs to Betty (Dillen) and Roger Todd. He had one sister, Cynthia Todd. Rick was a proud father to his daughter, Erica Todd and a proud grandfather to his grandson, Abram Carr. Rick was very well known around Excelsior Springs as he was born and raised there his entire life. He was an avid dirt bike rider, dune buggy rider, Race fan, and had an extreme love for music and cars and anything that went fast. He was also a big dog lover as he rescued many in his lifetime. If you didn’t know Rick from his love of cars, his sweet decked out yellow van or his love of music, then you most likely knew him as the trusted man behind the counter at Kramer Hardware for so many years.

James Richard “Rick” Griffin, 63, of Zebulon, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6. Rick was born in Griffin on May 5, 1958. His father Everitt Cleveland Griffin, his first wife, Teresa Ann Pittman Griffin, and brother, Cleve Griffin all preceded him in death. Rick was a 1976 graduate of Griffin High School, longtime volunteer Baseball Coach, formerly served on the board at CrossPointe Christian Academy and was a retired chiropractor.
