Flames prospects Dustin Wolf and Jakob Pelletier named to AHL All-Rookie Team

Pelletier, 21, played much of the season for Stockton on their top line with Matthew Phillips and either Glenn Gawdin or Adam Ruzicka. A two-way forward in junior, Pelletier adapted extremely well (and quickly) to the pro game, putting up 27 goals and 62 points through 65 games. He sits second in the AHL in points and is expected to be a contender for the league’s top rookie award.

Flames prospect Jakob Pelletier named AHL Player of the Week

Pelletier, 21, was the Flames’ first-round pick in 2019. He’s gone pro this season with the Heat and has emerged as one of that circuit’s top two-way players and scorers. At present, he sits ninth in the AHL in points and is second among all AHL rookies in points, too.

Stockton Heat rookie Jakob Pelletier scored an outstanding game-winning goal to help propel his team to a 3–2 overtime victory over the Colorado Eagles on Nov. 26.
