The 33-year-old righty has impressed with Triple-A Salt Lake this season, posting a 2.61 ERA and 32:9 K:BB in 31 innings of relief. Having displayed an ability to pitch multiple innings, Petricka will provide the Angels with bullpen depth and a long-relief option. He last appeared in the MLB in 2019, when he had a 3.38 ERA in eight innings with the Brewers. No corresponding move has been announced yet.
