Knicks' Immanuel Quickley: Leads Knicks in assists

Quickley accumulated 12 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 0-1 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 29 minutes during Monday's 97-87 loss to the Hornets. Quickley came off the bench for a fourth consecutive game Monday, but he bounced back in the scoring column after totaling just five points across the previous two games. The 22-year-old also helped drive the Knicks offense by matching his season high in the assists column. Quickley has had relatively inconsistent production off the bench but has maintained ample playing time regardless of his starting status.

Immanuel Quickley has Filled the New York Knicks’ 6th Man Role

Despite a discouraging loss to the Boston Celtics a few days after RJ Barrett’s primetime buzzer-beater, the New York Knicks have been playing better as of late. Knicks see Immanuel Quickley getting sharper at point

As the Knicks have struggled, like many teams, to mix and match lineups through injuries and COVID-19 absences, coach Tom Thibodeau has tried to keep his second unit as intact as possible. And with good reason since on many nights they have been more reliable than the starters. And it...

Immanuel Quickley provides spark in Knicks’ blowout loss

The Knicks were without noted Celtics killer Evan Fournier on Saturday night, but the teammate who replaced him in the starting lineup at least attempted to assume that role. With Fournier sidelined with a contused left hip, Immanuel Quickley moved into the starting lineup and scored 12 of his 18 points in the first half to provide one of the few positive performances in the Knicks’ lowest scoring game of the season, a 99-75 blowout loss to the Celtics in Boston.

Knicks' Immanuel Quickley: Back in bench role

Quickley isn't starting Monday against the Spurs, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. Quickley drew a spot start Saturday against Memphis and fared well, finishing with 18 points and four dimes in 37 minutes of action, but he'll return to his reserve role with Evan Fournier (thigh) back on the floor. The 22-year-old is averaging 11.8 points, 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds in his last six matchups off the bench.

Knicks' Immanuel Quickley: Plays well in starting role

Quickley chipped in 18 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, four assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Saturday's 99-75 loss to the Celtics. Quickley moved into the starting lineup with Evan Fournier (thigh) unable to play, and he finished second on the team in scoring. The second-year guard's 7-for-11 shooting mark was particularly impressive given that the Knicks hit just 36.7 percent of their attempts from the field as a whole. Quickley typically functions as one of the team's top bench scorers, and he'll likely return to that role when Fournier rejoins the lineup.

Knicks' Immanuel Quickley: Provides spark off bench

Quickley contributed 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Thursday's 108-105 win over Boston. Quickley put together his most efficient shooting performance since Dec. 16 -- his last game before being sidelined for four straight contests due to COVID-19 protocols. On the season, the second-year pro is averaging 10.3 points, 2.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds across 22.3 minutes per game, but as long as Kemba Walker (knee) and Derrick Rose (ankle) remain out, he's expected to see an uptick in production from his reserve role, making him a potential target in deeper leagues.

Knicks Guard Immanuel Quickley Played Against The Pistons In A Misspelled Jersey

Editors matter, even for the back of NBA jerseys. On Wednesday, as the New York Knicks played the Detroit Pistons on the road, Knicks guard Immanuel Quickley had his last name spelled wrong on the back of his jersey. Instead of “Quickley” his last name came out as “Qucikley,” which is close at least.

He's a candidate to carve out a healthy role in the backcourt -- making him a deep target to monitor.
