Ildikó Enyedi
Ildikó Enyedi (born 15 November 1955) is a Hungarian film director and screenwriter. Her 2017 film On Body and Soul won the top prize at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival and went on to be nominated for a Foreign Language Academy Award. She has directed a total of eight feature films since 1989. Her father, György Enyedi, was a geographer and economist who played a major role in the long-term development of regional science.

Ildiko Enyedi talks making a stand against the Orban government, upcoming projects

Last summer, Ildiko Enyedi resigned from her teaching position at the University of Theatre and Film Arts (SZFE) in Budapest. The Hungarian filmmaker and 2017 Berlinale Golden Bear winner for On Body And Soul did so in vehement protest against the decision by Viktor Orban’s right-wing government to place its own supporters in senior administrative positions at the university.

Ildikó Enyedi Pitches Hungarian Spy Series in Berlin

BUDAPEST: The Golden Bear winner and Oscar nominated director Ildikó Enyedi returns to the Berlin International Film Festival as a jury member, and she will also present the Balaton Brigade series project at the Co-Pro Series pitch forum. The Berlinale Co-Production Market, established seven years ago, runs 2 - 5 March 2021. This is the first time that a Hungarian series has been invited to participate.
