Several Facebook users today posted images of the Franke’s Cafeteria sign being removed from its final location at 11121 N. Rodney Parham Road. Franke’s has been closed since the beginning of the pandemic, but the sign coming down is a sad image symbolizing the end of an era that dates back more than a century. Franke’s was originally established as a donut-type shop in downtown Little Rock in 1919.
