Guapdad 4000 And Rick Ross’s ‘How Many’ Remix Video Is Filled With Bel Aire And Beauties

For my money, one of the best albums of 2021 so far is Guapdad 4000’s Illmind-produced, autobiographical 1176 on which the Bay Area rapper exorcises the demons of his youth and cleverly flips an Alice Deejay sample to reflect on his life of crime on “How Many.” Today, Guapdad dropped the deluxe version of 1176, revealing the big-name guest who was initially left off the tracklist: Rick Ross, who appears on the “How Many” remix.

Guapdad 4000 Adds A Flirtatious Verse To Sainvil’s Amorous ‘Ashley’ Video

Alamo Records R&B singer Sainvil has been steadily building an audience since being signed to the label in 2019 — becoming the label’s first R&B singer in the process. His latest single “Ashley” may help kick his recognition up a notch thanks to its bootylicious video and a timely appearance from guest rapper Guapdad 4000, who’s in the midst of a breakout of his own after releasing the heartfelt album 1176 with Illmind.

Benny The Butcher and Harry Fraud, Guapdad 4000 and Illmind, 22gz and More – New Projects This Week

Another week, another series of new music. Scroll down to see what's new and let's get to it. Griselda's own Benny The Butcher joins forces with master producer Harry Fraud for their project, The Plugs I Met 2. The release is the follow-up to the initial offering, The Plugs I Met, which dropped back in 2019. TPIM2 features the project's first single "Thanksgiving," a perfectly crafted track that seamlessly tells the story of Benny's days on the block and how his successors should show gratitude—an obvious pun on the meaning of Thanksgiving. The nine-track project features appearances from 2 Chainz, Fat Joe, Jim Jones, French Montana and more.

Guapdad 4000 And Buddy’s Frequent Flights Frustrate Their Partners On ‘PlayStation’

It’s been two years since Guapdad 4000 has delivered a full-length project to the world, but thankfully, that drought ends today with the release of his 1776 joint album with producer Illmind. The 14-track effort finds Guapdad and his fellow Californian, Buddy, reconnecting for their light collaboration, “PlayStation.” The song is centered on the frustrations of their respective partners, who aren’t too fond of the rappers’ busy schedules. Frequent flights and a tiring hustle are all a part of the formula towards Guapdad and Buddy’s success, but it also proves to be the bane of their love lives.

Guapdad 4000, Blac Chyna, And Almighty Suspect React To Snow’s ‘Informer’ Video

Way back in 1992, music fans had their minds blown by the video for a Canadian dancehall artist’s No. 1 hit single. That’s right, “Informer” by Snow was a certified chart-topper, but the song’s video revealed an artist whose features appeared to be at odds with the way he sounded on the record. So, for this week’s episode of React Like You Know, we’re putting our panel of younger artists through the same mind-blowing experience of watching the “Informer” video for the first time.

Guapdad 4000 And P-Lo Look To Satisfy Their Partners’ Bedroom Needs In The Wacky ‘She Wanna’ Video

Nearly two years removed from his debut album, Dior Deposits, Guapdad 4000 is gearing up to release his upcoming effort, 1176 with Illmind. The Oakland rapper takes one step closer to the project’s release which his latest single, “She Wanna” featuring fellow Bay Area act, P-Lo. The track is a play off Ying Yang Twins’ “Wait (The Whisper Song)” and arrives with a wacky visual that falls in line with Guapdad’s unique personality.

Guapdad 4000 Looks For A Waifu In ‘Anime Shawty, Vol. 2’ With Lil Ricefield And Seiji Oda

The days when openly professing your love for Japanese animation and catgirl maids would get you roasted by your friends and family aren’t all the way gone, but we’ve come a long way. Now, rappers like Guapdad 4000 can proudly feature on tongue-in-cheek songs name-dropping shows like Michiko & Hatchin while searching for a potential paramour with the same hobby. That’s pretty much the premise of Lil Ricefield’s “Anime Shawty, Vol. 2” which features Guapdad and Seiji Oda. Guapdad embraces his inner weeb with his fellow Oakland rappers, who are Japanese-American brothers and first broke out with their song “Trapanese.”

Guapdad 4000 Joins Too Short And Rayven Justice To Proudly Rep The Bay In Their Video For ‘Oaklandish’

Prior to 2020, Guapdad 4000 was undoubtedly a big name, especially after his debut, Dior Deposits, and his string of impressive guest features on Dreamville’s compilation album Revenge Of The Dreamers III. This year, the Oakland native kept it up with a pair of EPs, Platinum Falcon Tape, Vol. 1 and Platinum Falcom Returns, plus a number of strong collabs. Now, Guapdad brings his year to an end by standing beside a fellow Bay legend in a new music video.
