My Chemical Romance are in the midst of their long-awaited reunion tour, which has several amazing openers varying by date, including Turnstile, Soul Glo, Nothing, Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Midtown, The Bouncing Souls, Youth Code, Devil Master, and more, and Gerard Way revealed on stage in Buckinghamshire on Saturday (5/21) that there's one band he really hoped to take out but of course couldn't -- Power Trip -- and he paid tribute to their late frontman Riley Gale in the process.

Following on from their two-night stop at the Eden Project earlier this week, My Chemical Romance hit Milton Keynes for the first stadium show of their massive comeback tour. And not only was the size of the venue much different (the MK Stadium is around 35,000-capacity, while the Eden Project is a more intimate – for MCR, anyway – 6,500), but frontman Gerard Way had clearly stocked up on a new wardrobe en route, much to the delight of the old-school My Chem contingent.

Trivium’s Matt Heafy has shared a heavy new collaboration with Gerard Way from his solo black metal project Ibaraki’s upcoming debut album, ‘Rashomon’. The new track, titled ‘Rōnin’, features screamed vocals from the My Chemical Romance frontman, as well as composition from Emperor’s Ihsahn. The nine-minute track also comes with a kaleidoscopic music video that sees two people being brainwashed and hypnotised.
