Georgia Steel is an English TV personality and actor, best known for starring in the reality TV series ‘Love Island.’ Born in Thirsk, England, to popular jockey Rodney Lappin and Sharon, Georgia was always interested in the entertainment industry. She, however, did not have a peaceful childhood. Her father left her and her mother when Georgia was 3 years old. Upon growing up, Georgia started acting in school plays. She made her on-screen acting debut in 2013, starring in the British children’s TV series ‘All at Sea,’ which featured her as ‘Amanda Bryce’ in two episodes. Her big break arrived in 2018, when she starred in the popular dating reality show ‘Love Island.’ The show made her a household name in the country. The show was a huge hit in US, too, and her popularity soared there. In 2019, she appeared on reality shows such as ‘Celebs Go Dating’ and ‘Celebs on the Ranch.’ After becoming famous, she openly talked about her differences with her father and gathered a lot of media attention because of that.
