Mathews (wrist) will play Sunday against the Hornets, Chris Miller of NBC Sports Washington reports. Mathews will be available for the finale as expected despite a sprained wrist. He went for nine points and two boards across 17 minutes in Friday's win over Cleveland.

He got hot in the second quarter, knocking down three triples and tallying 12 points.
