If there’s anyone wondering what Tom Holland is going to be doing once he ages out of being Spider-Man and Peter Parker it should be easy to understand that the actor is already working on that small issue since he’s been in other movies already and is now going to be taking on a Fred Astaire biopic. He’ll be assuming the lead role as the famous song and dance man and it’s not hard to think that he’s one of those that might have the best chance of it since his look isn’t too far off and can be tweaked just enough to make him look even more like Astaire. It does feel as though the movie will focus on Ginger Rogers enough that a fitting starlet will be found to play opposite of Tom and thereby complete the store a little further, but there are no big details to be had at this time, apart from the announcement of Holland as Astaire. How this is going to work will be interesting to see when everything is done and ready to be released.
Tom Holland recently opened up about his excitement for his role as Fred Astaire in an upcoming biopic.

Tom Holland Will Portray Fred Astaire in Forthcoming Biopic. Action hero Tom Holland has been selected to play Fred Astaire in an upcoming film from Sony. Tom Holland may only be 25-years old, but he has a lot going on lately. Perhaps, starring in what is poised to become the season’s biggest blockbuster, the Spider-Man film, No Way Home, is only the beginning of what’s to come for the terrific Holland. He has just been cast as legendary dancer Fred Astaire in a biopic about the well-loved genius, Astaire. There’s just one little thing, though: Holland hasn’t read the script yet! It’s also yet to make it into Holland’s hands as a matter of fact.
Tom Holland has confirmed he’ll be playing Fred Astaire, the legendary actor, dancer, and singer, who starred along with Ginger Rogers in a series of classic musicals. “Oh, I am playing Fred Astaire,” he told reporters. “The script came in a week ago; I haven’t read it yet. They haven’t given it to me. I know Amy Pascal has the script. She FaceTimed me earlier when I was in the bath and we had a lovely FaceTime. But I will be playing Fred Astaire.” Pascal, former Sony Pictures executive and producer of the Spider-Man franchise, previously said that she wanted to cast Holland as Astaire.
