Flavien Prat (born August 4, 1992 in Melun, Seine-et-Marne, France) is a jockey in Thoroughbred racing who was a Champion Apprentice Jockey and Group 1 race winner in France before moving full time to the United States in 2015 where he has won several meet riding Championships plus numerous top races including two Breeders' Cup events and the 2019 Kentucky Derby.

DEL MAR — They were flying early in Sunday’s $300,000 Grade I Del Mar Debutante, setting up the 7-furlong race beautifully for jockey Flavien Prat and Grace Adler. With Elm Drive and Eda zipping along in 21.78 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.37 for the half mile, Prat sat comfortably in sixth place, biding his time until it was time to zoom home.

Jockey Flavien Prat was suspended seven days for his ride on Hot Rod Charlie in the TVG.com Haskell Stakes at Monmouth Park on July 17.
