Chucky TV Show Brings Back Child's Play Franchise Favorite Fiona Dourif

Big news for Don Mancini's upcoming Chucky series, and big trouble for those in the crosshairs of the titular killer doll, as Fiona Dourif will be reprising the role of Nica Pierce in the show. Dourif will join her real-life father, Child's Play legend Brad Dourif, in USA/Syfy's Chucky series having played the role of Nica Pierce first in Curse of Chucky before reprising the role for 2017's Cult of Chucky.

Child's Play TV Series Recruits Fiona Dourif to Reprise Her Cult of Chucky Role

In a movie that shouldn't surprise hardcore fans of the Chucky movies, Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that actress Fiona Dourif, daughter of franchise star Brad, is set to appear in the upcoming Child's Play TV series. Fiona will be reprising her role of Nica, the character she played in the previous two Chucky movies, 2013's Curse of Chucky and 2017's Cult of Chucky. She will appear alongside her father, once again voicing the doll, with Jennifer Tilly reprising her role of Tiffany. Child's Play creator Don Mancini is spearheading the television series which will pick up from the ongoing film series, and seemingly ignore the 2019 reboot of the property.

With MGM rebooting Child’s Play on the big screen back in 2019, creator Don Mancini is continuing his original universe in Syfy’s Chucky TV series, which will explore the next chapter in the saga of the killer Good Guy doll. Of course, Brad Dourif is back to voice Chucky, and in further exciting casting news, it’s been announced that he’ll be joined by real-life daughter – and fellow franchise alum – Fiona Dourif.
