Vienna State Opera Announces New Date for ‘Parsifal’ Starring Jonas Kaufmann & Elīna Garanča

The Vienna State Opera has announced that it will be streaming Wagner’s “Parsifal” live on Sunday, April 11, 2021. The new production by Kirill Serebrennikov will star Jonas Kaufmann in the title role alongside Ludovic Tézier as Amfortas, and Elīna Garanča as Kundry. Other cast members include Georg Zeppenfield as Gurnemanz, Wolfgang Koch as Klingsor, and Stefan Cerny as Titurel. The production will be conducted by Philippe Jordan.
