Dwight Yoakam will bring “The Streets of Bakersfield” to West Fargo when he plays the Midco Stage at Essentia Health Plaza at The Lights on Sept. 2. The country star is best known for his cover of the Buck Owens song, as well as originals like “Guitars, Cadillacs,” “Ain’t That Lonely Yet,” “A Thousand Miles from Nowhere,” “Fast as You” and more.

Warner Music Group Moves to Dismiss Dwight Yoakam Copyright Ownership Claim

Warner Music Group is asking a judge to dismiss the Dwight Yoakam copyright ownership dispute. Yoakam’s lawsuit against WMG seeks to reclaim the rights to his debut album. However, WMG says the singer doesn’t own the rights to two of the songs on the album and that his other claims are ‘without merit.’
