Dwight Howard is a professional NBA player counted among the top three players in the league. After commencing his career with ‘Orlando Magic’, the NBA star went on to play for ‘Los Angeles Lakers’, ‘Atlanta Hawks’, ‘Houston Rockets’ and ‘Charlotte Hornets’. He has won ‘All-Star NBA’ on eight different occasions out of which five were All-NBA first team honors. In addition to that, he has also won a couple of ‘Defensive Player of the Year’ awards. He holds several records including the highest defensive rating of 99.1. His statistics in field goal percentage, rebounds, free throws and blocks make him a perfect prospect to be included in the NBA Hall of Fame. Dwight too, thinks he will be a Hall of Famer in the near future, but a few experts think otherwise, citing his average performance towards the end of 2017. Dwight’s statistics are way better than that of many of his contemporaries.

A promiment player could be leaving the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason … for a third time. Sean Deveney of Heavy.com reported this week that Lakers big man Dwight Howard is unlikely to be back with the team next season. The eight-time All-Star is on his third stint with the Lakers and even won a championship with them in 2020 but will now be an unrestricted free agent.
