After a brief stint playing Carlo Forenza on DAYS OF OUR LIVES, Don Diamont joined the cast of CBS sudser THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS as Brad Carlton in 1985, and says that he was very grateful to have Beth Maitland (Traci) take him under the wing as he settled into Genoa City.

Bill and Katie have been through quite a roller coaster on THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, but Don Diamont is fully behind the pairing and believes that the two characters bring out the best in each other. “Katie coming into his life softened him,” the actor told Soap Opera Digest of his alter ego, “Dollar” Bill Spencer. “In fact, it was that moment where he could have taken advantage of a drunk Katie and he didn’t. That’s when you saw some heart, some scruples, some glimmer of a moral conscience.”

She, however, has been reluctant to let him into her heart for the umpteenth time. According to Don Diamont, Bill’s favorite ex-wife might be wise to keep him at arm’s length… especially should one of his former lovers become available again.
