Dominick Cruz is one of those very rare fighters in the MMA space who have perfectly sorted out the formula to secure a win. The speed, strength and rare ability to surprise his opponents during a fight have led him to a pro-MMA career where he has lost just twice. Already being hailed as one of the greatest all-time fighters, Dominick was born in Arizona, United States and did some odd jobs before entering the ring to fight professionally. He started with World Extreme Cage fighting and when it was bought by UFC, Dominick became practically unstoppable. After making his grand debut in the Ultimate Fighting Championship ring on 2nd of July 2011 against Urijah Faber, he won by the anonymous decision. In all the remaining five fights of his career, his winning streak came to a halt only once in December 2016 against Cody Garbrandt. He has been the WEC Bantamweight champion, has won ‘Fight of the Night’ honour three times and ‘Performance of the night’ once. Fox sports hired him as an MMA analyst and Cruz has managed to score homerun there as well, by being two times Analyst of the Year at MMA awards 2014 and 2015.

Even after the biggest win of his career, Marlon Vera isn’t being picky about his next fight. Vera demolished top-ranked bantamweight Rob Font this past weekend in the main event of UFC Vegas 53 to vault into the top five of the UFC’s 135-pound rankings. While the performance inched Vera closer to title contention than he’s been in his nine-year UFC career, it also didn’t change his “anyone, anywhere” approach toward the fight game.

Dominick Cruz seemingly has an idea for a return to the cage, thanks in part to Petr Yan. ‘The Dominator’ would like to face former UFC featherweight champion, Jose Aldo. In December, following Cruz’s victory over Pedro Munhoz, ‘No Mercy’ suggested that the former champion face Jose Aldo.
