Doc Rivers
Doc Rivers is an American former basketball player and the current head coach of the ‘Los Angeles Clippers’ of the ‘National Basketball Association’ (NBA). His career as a player started in 1983, with the ‘Atlanta Hawks,’ and continued with other teams until 1996. Following this, he took up coaching for the ‘Orlando Magic’ in 1999 and gradually continued to develop his career. He has received many awards, both as a player and as a coach, and has inspired his three sons to follow basketball as a career option. His nickname, “Doc,” was given to him by Rick Majerus, who was the assistant coach of ‘Marquette University.’ He managed to build a successful career despite the fact that he suffered from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which he discovered when he took a personality test while he was coaching the ‘Celtics.’
