Is ABC’s “Station 19” one of the most underrated TV dramas out there? I think a lot of Outsiders would probably say that’s true. The show actually came as a spinoff to the critically acclaimed medical drama, “Grey’s Anatomy.” And like its “One Chicago” “Chicago Fire” competitor, it focuses on life in a firehouse station. More specifically, it details the daily operations of Seattle’s Station 19. That station’s crew, unfortunately, just lost one of its original members with the death of Dean Miller.

If you have not heard the news just yet, Okieriete Onaodowan is leaving Station 19 and his character of Dean Miller. What happened on Thursday’s crossover is emotional and still difficult to process — Dean’s death will create huge shockwaves in the firehouse, and as an actor Oak was beloved among many of the cast and crew. You can get a great sense of that from a lot of the love they have shared his way on social media after the fact.

Tonight on the Station 19 season 5 premiere, we wanted perhaps one thing more than any other: Dean to tell Vic the truth!. It goes without saying, but we ‘ship these two pretty hard at this point. After all, the position Miller is in is not an easy one. He loves her, but he also values her as a friend. He doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize that, even if it means not being able to have what he wants. That’s how much this friendship means to her.

Alma Dean Miller, 94, passed away Sept. 1. Alma was a resident of Barberton for most of her life. She was an active member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and currently a member of Copley Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Mike C. Miller; brothers, Edwin Meryl Phelps and Jay Phelps. Alma is survived by her children, William C. (Carole) Miller, Patricia Miller, Michael “Mick” Miller and Daniel (Beth) Miller; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Terence “Terry” Dean Miller passed away in his home in Kalispell on May 23, 2021. His journey began when he was born in Jamestown, North Dakota, to parents Tom Miller and Arlene Young. They moved to Libby where he grew up with his brothers and sister playing in the woods. There he went to school and graduated from Libby High School in 1980. He then got married and moved to Kalispell to have two daughters. He worked hard at the Old Columbia Falls Aluminum Company plant, Plum Creek and doing construction. He also got a degree as a pharmacy technician from Flathead Valley Community College.
