He ran with 50 Cent’s G-Unit for a while and nearly inked a deal with Roc-A-Fella Records at one point as part of his old group Reservoir Dogs. In a recent interview with Andrew Barber on Story to Tell, Danny recalled taking advantage of unused Roc-A-Fella studio time to record his music.

Danny Brown, age 68, of Pottsville, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021. He was born Sept. 17, 1952, in Sacramento, Calif., to Joe Brown and Laverne Bolin Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bobby Brown, Donald Brown and Bill Brown; sister, Patsy Brown; and sister in law, Kathy Brown.

Oasis Petroleum Inc. on April 14 appointed Daniel E. “Danny” Brown as CEO, a role left vacant following Co-founder Thomas Nusz retirement’s last December.
