While he may not always land himself in the win column, it’s hard to deny the entertainment value of someone like Dan Hooker. ‘Hangman’ always goes out there to put on a show and even if he comes up on the losing end, you can bet he’s going to go down swinging – or, at the very least, bounce back with a smile on his face.

UFC featherweight Dan Hooker has announced that he’s going to be returning to 155 pounds. ‘The Hangman’ was last seen in action at UFC London against Arnold Allen. Hooker’s first bout at featherweight since 2016 ended in a dramatic fashion. Allen demolished the New Zealander, finishing him via TKO in the first round. Some, including Israel Adesanya, thought the finish might’ve been premature.

Arnold Allen has no doubts about the quality of his stoppage win over Dan Hooker. This past Saturday at UFC London, Allen turned in the best performance of his UFC career, stopping Hooker with strikes just 2 minutes and 33 seconds into the first round. The stoppage came with a small amount of controversy however, as though Hooker was clearly hurt, Allen never actually dropped “The Hangman,” finishing the fight with punches and elbows while Hooker covered up along the fence.
