LANSING — Lenawee County's state senator on Tuesday voted to suspend Michigan's fuel taxes for six months, a measure that is likely to be vetoed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The bill, which passed the House last week, would pause the state's 27.2-cents-per-gallon tax on gasoline and diesel in an attempt to provide price relief to Michiganders struggling with rising fuel prices.
