The Solano County Orderly Growth Committee endorses Curtis Hunt for the District 2 seat on the Vacaville City Council. This special election will take place on May 4. Curtis has a long record of public service, including being on the Vacaville City Council from 2007 to 2018. Before that, he was on the Community Services Commission from 2002 to 2006.

I served on the Vacaville City Council for 25 years — the last 12 as mayor. I have known Curtis Hunt for most of his tenure on the city council. Curtis is an outstanding representative of the people of Vacaville. I am glad that he has chosen to continue his service to the city. He has been careful in his decisions, he possesses moral integrity, does not represent any special interest group and will use his experience for benefit of our community.
