Snoop Dogg, Moneybagg Yo, Currensy and More – New Projects This Week

With warm weather quickly approaching, here are some of the new music releases getting fans fired up for the summer. Take a look below to find some heat for your speakers. To commemorate this well-known stoner's favorite holiday: 4/20, Snoop Dogg delivered his 10-track album titled, From tha Streets 2 tha Suites, on Tuesday (April 20). ProHoeZak, Kokane, Mozzy, Larry June, Snoop's former Eastsidaz group members Goldie Loc and Big Tray Deee, J Black and Devin The Dude all offer guest vocals on the project. The LP falls in line with the California-bred rhymer's West Coast sounding bangers that he started making at the beginning of his career in 1993. Only this time, Snoop updates his sound to fit the landscape of hip-hop we are all residing in.

Currensy To Release New EP ‘Financial District’ As NFT

The NFT craze has been massive for the past couple of months and the music industry has been taking note and taking full advantage of the hype. Up until this point, Wu-Tang Clan, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Lupe Fiasco and Jeezy are just some of the names that have released content in the NFT space. The countdown is over and Friday is finally here. And of course, that means several things, but in the hip-hop community, it signifies new music. After a mild delay, Baltimore-bred Shordie Shordie and mastermind producer Murda Beatz drop their collective effort, Memory Lane. The 12-track project features some high-octane production from Murda and some of Shordie's quick-tongued rhymes. Less than three weeks before Memory Lane arrived, the duo dropped their joint record with Trippie Redd, "Love," which is also the only feature on the project. All-in-all, there's a little bit of rasp, mixed with melodic vibes and some R&B-esque feels as well.

The project also features appearances from Belly, Dave East, Trav, French Montana, Currensy, Jay Worthy, Conway the Machine, Marc Scibilla, Big Body Bes, Maino, and Kenny Sway.
