Cole Hilton Anthony (born May 15, 2000) is an American college basketball player for the North Carolina Tar Heels of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Listed at 6 feet 3 inches (1.91 m) and 190 pounds (86 kg), he plays the point guard position. The son of former NBA player Greg Anthony, he grew up in Manhattan, New York. Anthony started his high school career with Archbishop Molloy High School before transferring to Oak Hill Academy for his final season, averaging a triple-double. He was rated a consensus five-star recruit and the best point guard in the 2019 class. As a senior, he earned USA Today All-USA first team honors and was named most valuable player (MVP) of the McDonald's All-American Game, Jordan Brand Classic, and Nike Hoop Summit. In 2018, Anthony led the United States to a gold medal and was named to the all-tournament team at the FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Anthony (toe) departed Sunday's game against the Knicks early in the first quarter and will not return, Khobi Price of the Orlando Sentinel reports. Anthony was questionable coming into the day with a sprained left toe, and while he was cleared to start Sunday's contest, he was visibly favoring his left foot before checking out of the game at the 9:22 mark in the first quarter. Shortly after heading back to the locker room, the Magic announced that Anthony will not return. He should be considered day-to-day heading into Orlando's three-game week to finish out the regular season.
