Slipknot‘s Corey Taylor has announced that he’s set to release a B-sides album of his solo debut record ‘CMFT’ this month. ‘CMFT’ came out last year, and as Taylor explained in a new interview, the accompanying album is due on February 25 and will feature acoustic recordings and cover versions from the album’s sessions.

A million years ago in 2020, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor released his solo album CMFT, which proved that while Corey was doing weird, aggressive things in Slipknot, he secretly wanted to be making LA radio rock. But now, it appears that our long national nightmare is far from over, as Corey has revealed that he has a B-sides album in the works full of covers and acoustic versions of his songs — and that the sequel to CMFT is on the way.

The Slipknot/Stone Sour singer performed tracks from his solo debut effort, CMFT, which was released in October 2020.
