Deputy State Fire Marshals have charged two women with arson after connecting them to a mobile home fire last week. Cheryl D. Saunders, 39, and Katherine A. Edwards, 66, were charged with arson after investigators determined both were involved with intentionally setting a mobile home on fire at 16900 Warbler Court in Hagerstown last Tuesday evening. The suspects were identified after multiple witnesses saw the pair at the home and then observed smoke and flames a short time later. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire and is owned by Saunders's mother.

Mother accused of manslaughter after infant dies in care of six-year-old left alone to babysit

A mother has been charged with manslaughter after she allegedly left her six-year-old son to babysit his one-year-old sibling, who died after becoming stuck between a bed and a wall. In a statement on Monday, the Spring Valley Police Department said the mother, 36-year-old Marie Dorleus, left the six and one-year-old without any adult supervision on Saturday when the incident occurred.Police responded to a report of an infant who was trapped between a bed and wall at about 8.40pm on Saturday, at an apartment in Spring Valley, New York.The Spring Valley Fire Department was dispatched to aid in freeing the child, who was found unresponsive at the scene, said police. The infant received immediate life saving treatment was transported to Nyack Hospital where he died of his injuries. No further information was available as tributes were paid to the one-year-old on the Spring Vallery police’s Facebook page.

Noah H Blonder, 21, of Crofton, Dies Following Early Morning Severna Park Crash

A 21-year old Crofton resident has died following an early morning vehicle crash in Severna Park. Officials say shortly before 4:00am on June 5, 2021, a 2015 Honda Civic crashed into a parked car causing that vehicle to hit a house in the 700 block of Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. Noah Blonder, the vehicle's passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

21-Year Old Man, Teen From Baltimore Arrested Following Brooklyn Park Drug Seizure

A 21 year old man and a teenager from Baltimore were arrested after police seized marijuana and cash from a vehicle in Brooklyn Park. On June 20, 2021 at approximately 12:45 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Nissan Altima in the area of Townsend Avenue near 1st Street. Officers made contact with the driver and information was received which led to a search of the occupants and the vehicle.

Maryland State Police Arrest Gambrils Man For Sexual Solicitation Of A Minor

Maryland State Police arrested a man Monday on charges he solicited sex from an undercover trooper who was posing as a child over the Internet in Anne Arundel County. Catalino Lopez Cordova, 42, of Gambrills, Maryland, is charged with one count of sexual solicitation of a minor. He was transported to the Anne Arundel County Detention Center where he is being held without bond.
