AEW Dark results: Toni Storm, Lance Archer, Christopher Daniels in action

Matches for this week's AEW Dark were taped at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, last Friday. This was Archer's first AEW match in nearly two months. Solo gave Archer a shoulder tackle as he was climbing in the ring, sending him to the floor. Archer regained his composure at ringside before grabbing and pulling Solo out of the ring and chokeslamming him on the apron.

On Wednesday’s show, CM Punk came out to the ring and talked about how MJF reminds him of Punk himself when he was younger, and talked about how his own exit from WWE was similar to Steve Austin’s exit from the same company but how “after much lesser men framed him and said he ‘took his ball and went home,’ I didn’t get mad at the world.” He talked about how he poured alcohol down “an alcoholic’s [Jeff Hardy] throat” and covered Undertaker’s body “with the ashes of his dead and beloved manager.”

Christopher Daniels vs. Karl Fredericks announced for NJPW Strong: Rivals

NJPW has revealed the lineup for this week's episode of Strong. AEW's head of talent relations Christopher Daniels will be in action, facing Karl Fredericks. Daniels lost to Jay White at Strong: Nemesis in December. Daniels wrestled four times on Chris Jericho's cruise last October, but has otherwise not been active in AEW since he and SCU tag partner Frankie Kazarian lost a tag match to The Young Bucks on Dynamite last May.
