D.C. United re-acquire Chris Durkin from Sint-Truidense V.V. via Houston Dynamo

D.C. United have re-acquired midfielder Chris Durkin from Belgian top-flight side Sint-Truidense V.V. via a trade with the Houston Dynamo. Durkin has returned to D.C. United - where he began his professional career in 2016 - via the MLS Allocation Order. The Dynamo used their No.2 spot in the order to acquire his rights, which they traded to DCU for $325k in General Allocation Money - $200k in 2022 and another $125k in 2023.

D.C. United seeking to reacquire midfielder Chris Durkin

D.C. United is seeking to reacquire Chris Durkin, a homegrown defensive midfielder who moved overseas 2½ years ago, three people familiar with the plan said Wednesday.
