Ex-Lamb of God Drummer Chris Adler to Guitarist Mark Morton: “You Are a F***ing Douche”

So far, it has seemed like Lamb of God‘s parting ways with longtime drummer Chris Adler has been…maybe not perfect, but terse at its very nastiest. Now, it seems as though things are either worse than we thought or the dudes are on good-natured ribbing terms, as Adler and guitarist Mark Morton traded tweets last night which were a little intense.

Former Lamb Of God drummer Chris Adler calls ex-bandmate Mark Morton “a f**king douche”

We've all been there: you send out a quick, funny message, then realise while waiting for the response that actually, maybe it isn't funny, and actually, maybe it could be completely misinterpreted. A hasty follow-up of strings of Emojis later and you might look unhinged, but you pray to God the initial intention of the message is understood.

Chris Adler Says Lamb of God Was “Toxic,” Goal of Firstborne “Is to Have Fun”

Former Lamb of God drummer Chris Adler and guitar hero Myrone were our guests on a recent episode of The MetalSucks Quarantinecast to talk about their new project, Firstborne. Chris and Myrone told us how they first came to collaborate with each other and how they hooked up with vocalist Girish Pradan (Girish and The Chronicles) and bassist James Lomenzo (ex-Megadeth). At one point, Chris relayed the story of how he first discovered Myrone’s music (right here on MetalSucks!), how that dovetailed with his split from Lamb of God — a relationship he said had turned “toxic” — and how the primary objective of Firstborne is to have fun, something that was lacking in his later years with Lamb.
