Incumbent County Commissioner David Stout re-elected; Carl Robinson ousted

One incumbent El Paso County commissioner won a third term while another incumbent’s bid for a second term was thwarted by a longtime Canutillo school board member. Precinct 2 County Commissioner David Stout won 54% of the vote to keep the Central El Paso area seat. Challenger Judy Gutierrez lost by 544 votes out of almost 6,200 cast.

Western Sydney Wanderers appoint Mark Rudan to replace Carl Robinson

Mark Rudan has been named as Carl Robinson's replacement as head coach at the Western Sydney Wanderers, the club confirmed on Monday. Rudan, whose last job was as foundation coach of Western United, will take charge of the club's clash with Perth Glory on Wednesday and has been given until the end of the A-League Men season.

Breaking News: Carl Robinson Draws Opponent And Endorsement

El Paso Politics has learned that Carl Robinson has secured a significant endorsement for the March 2022 primaries. There has been talk of Carl Robinson drawing several opponents for the primaries over the last few weeks. Today, El Paso Politics has learned that Sergio Coronado filed to run against Robinson for the Precinct 4 county commissioner seat. The Texas Secretary of State candidate website lists Coronado as the only Robinson opponent as of press time. Candidates have until next Monday to file to run for office.
