Former New York Giants linebacker Carl Banks has clearly had enough when it comes to the franchise's struggles throughout the 2021 season. Banks, a two-time Super Bowl champion and member of the Giants Ring of Honor who now serves as a radio analyst for the team, joined the Bleav In Giants Podcast and released some heavy frustrations regarding the team.

The Giants held practice at the University of Arizona this week. “There’s something about a college town in terms of just the atmosphere and just kind of a lighter feeling,” Judge said. “It’s good sometimes to get the guys a break, get them back in that atmosphere, get them around some college athletes. The inter-mixing of the players sometimes in these situations is really invaluable. You see the college guys lifting in the weight room or being in the training room, our guys having the opportunity to talk to these guys and just kind of refresh themselves a little bit.”

Giants legend and WFAN broadcaster Carl Banks made an appearance on Bleav in Giants Podcast and blasted this year’s team, calling the recent loss to the Dolphins, “one of my lowest moments as a former Giant, as a fan, as a broadcaster.”

After Sunday’s 20-9 loss to the Dolphins, in which the Giants failed to execute offensively and fell to 4-8 on the season, Carl Banks had a message for the team. “My wish, and I’m not telling the fans, I’m telling the player, coaches, figure it the f–k out,” Banks, the team’s radio analyst and a former linebacker, said on the Bleav In Giants Podcast.

Carl Banks is tired of watching the Giants make the same mistakes on defense, over and over again, especially at outside linebacker. He’s one of the greatest to ever play that position for the Giants, and he takes a lot of pride in how ferocious he and his teammates (like Lawrence Taylor) were when it came to playing with edge. That’s a big reason why those Giants defenses in the 1980s were so formidable.
