BOSTON — A famed New York Yankees player who antagonized the Boston Red Sox during his career is seeking to trademark the expletive nickname he earned in Boston. Former shortstop Bucky Dent, better-known around Fenway Park with a foul word between his names, filed paperwork last month to trademark his name and the explicit nickname. According to the application filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on Jun 16, he is seeking the sole right to use the name "Bucking F'ing Dent" in live appearances, on merchandise and in the production of multimedia content.
