Drennan was previously on-air at the station between 2001-2004 and most recently has been hosting the show and podcast “All Bets Are On” for WKNR. “Drennan Live” will air on Sundays from 9-11am.

Broadcaster Bruce Drennan announces retirement citing health concerns

CLEVELAND — Bruce Drennan, a longtime sports broadcaster in the Cleveland area, announced Monday he intends to retire on Dec. 30 citing health concerns. Drennan, who currently hosts “Drennan Live” on Bally Sports, has hosted the TV program formerly known as “All Bets Are Off” for 14 years. Overall, he has been a fixture of the Cleveland sports broadcasting scene for decades.

Cleveland broadcasting legend Bruce Drennan will retire at the end of the year, Bally Sports Great Lakes announced Monday afternoon. Drennan hosted “Drennan Live,” once known as “All Bets Are Off” for 14 years. Known for his encyclopedic knowledge of baseball and a love of all sports, the occasionally gruff and always opinionated Drennan worked in broadcasting for 50 years.

DOVER -- Bruce Drennan is making good on his promise to talk sports at the Dover Public Library. The veteran Cleveland sports talker on Bally Sports Great Lakes and ESPN 850 Cleveland is coming to the Dover Public Library on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 2 p.m. to give his views on the sports landscape in Northeast Ohio.
