Brian Thompson is an American actor best known for his portrayal of an “Alien Bounty Hunter” on the TV series ‘The X-Files’. Raised in Washington as the son of two teachers, he learned the value of academics and athletics at an early age. His interest in acting developed during his high school senior year when he acted in the play ‘You Can't Take it With You’. He went to Central Washington University where he played football, studied business management, and auditioned for every available role. He then got a scholarship from University of California, Irvine for their Masters in Fine Arts program. By the time of his graduation, he had secured an agent and had already bagged a role in his film debut, ‘The Terminator’. His square jaw, large stature, and menacing appearance often led him to villainous roles but he played comedic parts as well. His movie credits include ‘Cobra’, ‘Star Trek Generations’ and ‘The Extendables’. He also played significant roles in the TV shows ‘Werewolf’, the ‘Star Trek’ series and ‘Key West’.
