Golden Knights' Brayden McNabb: Pockets helper

McNabb recorded an assist and four hits in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Avalanche in Game 6. McNabb logged just 12:11 of ice time Thursday, but there was no report of an injury involved. He's been limited to seven playoff contests due to time spent battling COVID-19. The defenseman has two assists, a plus-5 rating, 31 hits and 11 blocked shots in the postseason. He should be able to take on a heavy defensive assignment in the Stanley Cup Semifinals versus the Canadiens.

Brayden McNabb placed on long-term injured reserve

The Vegas Golden Knights are expecting to be back on the ice Wednesday as they prepare for a Friday night tilt against the Los Angeles Kings, their first game back after COVID protocols postponed three matches. Unfortunately, they’ll be without defenseman Brayden McNabb, who suffered a lower-body injury last Tuesday and was placed on long-term injured reserve. That means he will miss at least ten games, though his exact recovery timeline has not been announced.

Golden Knights' Brayden McNabb: Facing extended absence

McNabb is dealing with a lower-body injury and has been designated for long-term injured reserve, ruling him out for at least the next 10 games. Based on the team's timeline, McNabb won't be back until late February at the earliest. Considering the defenseman garnered just five shots in seven games this season, few fantasy players are likely to be impacted by his lengthy layoff. In the meantime, Zach Whitecloud, Nick Holden and Dylan Coghlan all figure to see more minutes, especially if Alex Pietrangelo (COVID-19 protocols) misses time.
