Predators' Brad Richardson: Activated from IR

Richardson (lower body) was activated from injured reserve and will play Saturday against Dallas, Adam Vingan of The Athletic. Richardson hasn't played since March 9, a span of 25 games. He's not exactly a fantasy darling (three points in 12 games, 11 in 59 last season), but he's a bottom-six staple in the Predators' lineup and should at minimum provide an emotional boost to the team in an important matchup with playoff implications against the Stars.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Remains out

Richardson (lower body) is not in Monday's lineup against Florida. Richarson is still considered day-to-day but hasn't played since March 9. The 36-year-old has three points in 12 games this season.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Out again Friday

Richardson (lower body) is not in Friday's lineup against the Blackhawks. There's still no clear timetable for Richardson's return beyond his "day-to-day" designation. The veteran forward has played just 12 games this season while battling multiple injuries, scoring three points with 11 hits in the process.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Still missing action

Richardson (lower body) isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Chicago. Richardson has missed 35 of the past 39 games while dealing with the lower-body issue, and he'll miss another Wednesday. The veteran was upgraded to day-to-day Tuesday, so consider Richardson questionable for Friday's game against Chicago. The 36-year-old has just three points and 10 shots through 12 games this campaign.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Activated from IR

Richardson (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Thursday. Richardson is available for Thursday's game versus the Panthers. The 36-year-old hasn't played since Jan. 30. He posted two points through the first eight games while averaging 11:35 per contest before this injury.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Still unavailable

Richardson (upper body) won't play in Tuesday's game versus the Red Wings, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports. Richardson has been skating, so he's closing in on a return. For the time being, the 36-year-old forward will remain on injured reserve. Once he gains clearance, Richardson should bump back into a bottom-six role, where he registered two points and seven hits over the first eight games.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Nearing return

Richardson (upper body) could return to the lineup as early as Tuesday's clash with the Red Wings, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports. Richardson last played Jan. 30 versus Tampa Bay, a stretch of nine games on the sidelines due to his upper-body problem. The 36-year-old Ontario native has recorded one goal on five shots, one assist and seven hits while averaging 11:35 of ice time. Once given the green light, Richardson will likely slot into a bottom-six role, which will limit his opportunities to get on the scoresheet.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Lands on IR

The Predators placed Richardson (upper body) on injured reserve Wednesday. Richardson will miss Nashville's next two games at a minimum now that he's been placed on IR. The 35-year-old forward's absence will test the Preds' depth up front, but it won't impact many fantasy lineups, as he's only totaled 13 points in 67 games over the past two campaigns.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Out Monday

Richardson (upper body) will not play in Monday's contest against Tampa Bay. Richardson has appeared in all eight games for Nashville this season but hasn't tallied a point since Jan. 16. He's considered day-to-day and could suit up for Thursday's game against the Panthers.

Predators' Brad Richardson: Good to go

Richardson (thumb) is in the projected lineup for Thursday's Opening Night matchup with Columbus. Richardson underwent thumb surgery following last season's playoffs, but he's had plenty of time to recover and shouldn't have any limitations against the Blue Jackets. The 35-year-old vet is expected to center Nashville's fourth line Thursday.
