García will be back for his 10th season with the team, joining Ricardo Clark and Brad Lewis in playing 10 seasons for the franchise. Houston Dynamo FC have reached an agreement with midfielder Boniek García to extend his contract through the 2021 MLS season, the Club announced today. García returns to Houston for his 10th season with the Club and is the third field player in Club history to reach the milestone, joining Dynamo legends Ricardo Clark and Brad Davis. The Honduran international has represented Houston in 247 games across all competitions, the fourth most in Club History. He has also earned 193 starts for the Dynamo across all competitions, seven starts shy of being the fourth player to reach 200 with the Dynamo.
