Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre's WWE Championship Match Gets Two Stipulations

Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre officially signed the contract for their WWE Championship match at Hell in a Cell during this week's Monday Night Raw, but not before they added two key stipulations to the bout. The first, proposed by MVP, was that if McIntyre loses he can never challenge for the WWE title again as long as Lashley is champion. McIntyre accepted, then added that the match would be contested inside the Hell in a Cell structure. The two traded insults before signing the paper, followed by McIntyre cutting the table that separated the two in half with his trademark sword.

Why WWE's Stipulation For Drew McIntyre's Hell In A Cell Match With Bobby Lashley Sounds Suspicious

Warning! The following contains spoilers for the Monday Night Raw that aired on Monday, June 7. Read at your own risk!. Monday Night Raw once again laid the groundwork for a pay-per-view clash between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship, but apparently there will be some changes. The two will clash at the upcoming Hell In A Cell, only this time, there has been a tease that this could be the final showdown between the two. The problem is the stipulation sounds a bit suspicious to me, especially given these two wrestlers.

*Spoiler*: Drew McIntyre gets one last shot at Bobby Lashley in Hell in a Cell

During the last episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE once again built a large part of its next PPV, which will air, as you all know, on June 20 and which will be the very famous, Hell in a Cell. One of the most anticipated contests throughout the WWE Universe is undoubtedly the match valid for the WWE title, currently alongside the All Mighty of the red show, Bobby Lashley, who is carrying on a long feud with the former world champion of the show WWE flag, from before Wrestlemania 37, Drew McIntyre.

Powell’s WWE Raw Hit List: Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre contract signing for the WWE Championship match at Hell in a Cell, a battle royal for a shot at the Raw Tag Titles, Jaxson Ryker vs. Elias, Alexa Bliss, Lily, and Shayna Baszler

Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre contract signing for the WWE Championship match at Hell in a Cell: A predictable segment, but it was exactly what it needed to be. Once Kofi Kingston started pointing out how many times McIntyre tried and failed to regain the championship, it seemed like this match had to be billed as McIntyre’s last chance to take the title from Lashley. It was also refreshing that McIntyre didn’t just accept the stipulation without asking for something in return. He actually requested the Hell in a Cell stipulation, and I like that Lashley didn’t flinch before signing off it. It hasn’t been perfect, but this feels like the culmination of a long feud, which is exactly what a Hell in a Cell match should be.

Kofi Kingston comments on the possibility of facing Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship, and the Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair match at WrestleMania

DAZN: I was thinking about after what happened on Monday at the end of the show. The fact is it seems like it’s going to be you and Bobby for the title sometime soon. The fact that you’ve been the champion and now you’d have two African-American men competing for the WWE Championship. To my knowledge, that hasn’t happened in WWE. We saw the women at WrestleMania with Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair. What would that mean to you to face Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship and have two African-Americans in that match?
