Birdman, born as Bryan Christopher Williams, is an American rapper, entrepreneur, and record producer. He is the public face and co-founder of Cash Money Records as well as a member of the hip hop duo, Big Tymers. Till date, Birdman has released four solo studio albums, two mixtapes, one collaborative album, twenty-three music videos and forty-eight singles (including seven promotional singles and twenty-three as a featured artist). The American artist is also reputed for contributing to ‘Young Money Cash Money Billionaires’ or YMCMB. The rapper is also an entrepreneur. Very few people know that Birdman owns an oil and gas exploration company. He also runs a merchandise line. On a personal note, the rapper cum entrepreneur is a loving husband and father of two kids. He loves to spend his spare time with his family. Birdman, who is active on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, has millions of fans on these social networking sites.

Birdman has shared a new collaboration with Lil Wayne and Roddy Ricch, ‘Stunnaman’. After a longstanding beef – including 2016 footage of Weezy leading the crowd in shouting “fuck the Birdman”, and later “fuck Cash Money”, while on stage in Phoenix – Lil Wayne and Birdman called a truce onstage at Lil Weezyana Fest in 2018. Birdman and Lil Wayne were once an inseparable duo in the hip-hop world. From the early Cash Money days of the late 1990s and early 2000s to the eventual Young Money days of the early 2010s, the Louisiana rappers were side by side through it all. Things would go left from 2014 to 2018 as Wayne and Birdman engaged in a lengthy battle over the delayed release of the former’s album, Tha Carter V. Thure Kumlien was alert to the landscape and the creatures living in nature. The Swedish immigrant who arrived in Wisconsin in the 1840s corresponded with naturalists on the east coast and Europe, documented the new state’s birds and plants and became the Milwaukee Public Museum’s first curator. Milwaukee writer Martha Bergland brings a poet’s touch to her biography of Kumlien, a forerunner to John Muir, Aldo Leopold and Wisconsin’s pantheon of environmentalists. Unlike Muir and Leopold, Kumlien left behind few writings and was “a very private citizen whose work was almost always behind the scenes.” Bergland’s account is a welcome addition to the literature on Wisconsin in the early years of European settlement.
