Congressman Billy Long To Hold Fundraiser At Mar-A-Lago

Congressman Billy Long says he will be holding a fundraiser event at the golf resort of former President Donald Trump in Florida. Representative Long, a fifth time representative for southwest Missouri, says he will be holding the fundraiser on April 28th at the Mar-a-Lago club. Representative Jason Smith, who represents the Missouri southeast, will also holding a fundraiser at the club on the 30th.

U.S. Congressman Billy Long from southwest Missouri is a regular guest on the KZRG Morning News Watch. While Long said that he was still weighing his options on if he will run for Roy Blunt’s open Senate seat next year, he said he hopes to announce his decision soon. One question Long was asked was, “Who is actually running the Whitehouse?” Long said “I think it is a shared responsibility really. A lot of it is being run by Obama. . . maybe more so by Bill Clinton.”
