Beth Hart Live In Phoenix

Beth Hart - April 16, 2022 - Orpheum Theatre, Phoenix AZ. Hart's latest album is an homage to heavy rock legends Led Zeppelin and she began her show with a couple selections from A Tribute to Led Zeppelin with the opening number being a take on "When the Levee Breaks," part of which she sang on her knees. Otherwise she was shimmying and strutting the stage for a snippet of "Dancing Days" that she appended to "When the Levee Breaks" and a dynamic cover of "No Quarter," a great cut to show how she can sing with thunder one moment and drop to a near whisper the next. "No Quarter" segued into "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" and then back into "No Quarter" to finish.

Why Beth Hart Didn’t Work With Jimmy Page

Beth Hart's recently released tribute album wasn't her first brush with Led Zeppelin. She had a chance to work with Jimmy Page in the early 2000s, but it didn't work out. Instead, she soon landed an equally impressive gig, writing and touring with Page's one-time Yardbirds associate Jeff Beck, beginning in 2006.
