At a Senate Intelligence hearing Tuesday for Christopher Fonzone’s nomination as Office of the Director of National Intelligence general counsel, the Nebraska Republican asked Fonzone about Huawei's link to China's oppression of its Uyghur minority.

After pipeline cyberattack, Ben Sasse and others say nation not adequately prepared

WASHINGTON (AP) — The operator of a major U.S. pipeline hit by a cyberattack said Monday it hopes to have service mostly restored by the end of the week. Colonial Pipeline had halted operations Friday because of a ransomware attack that the FBI has linked to a criminal gang. Supplies of gasoline, jet fuel and diesel could be disrupted if service isn’t restored soon.

Ben Sasse rightly calls out Democrats' filibuster hypocrisy

Many Nebraska Republicans have been angry with Sasse because of his vote to convict former President Donald Trump of inciting the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol. Several county parties, including those in Sarpy, Hitchcock, Lincoln and Scotts Bluff Counties, have also chastised Sasse for dismissing allegations of fraud in November’s presidential election.
