Victoria County potential site for new $5.56 billion refinery in Bloomington

Man builds several churches in hopes to save his son.

➡Man builds a church for his dying son. Lets travel to Moldova and head over to the small village of Pohrebe which host a population of around 700 people. The history of this small village goes back as recorded by first settlers in 1769. The first settlers where refugees of the Moldova principality, which were under very confusing times due to various wars and constant changing of rulers. The church is named Saint Aleksei, in the name of the son of the russian tsar Nikolai the 2nd. It is said that his son who was sick and dying from a young age and he was seeking ways to cure him. He tried many things. Then one day he visited a monk to seek answers. The monk told him that to cure his son he would have to build a few churches across certain locations, Pohrebe being one of them. Despite building the several churches that the monk told him to do, that.. Unfortunately did not help curing his son. The church has survived to this day including two major wars.

DHHR reports active COVID-19 cases increased to 3,111; 9 deaths since last report

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (DHHR) reports as of August 10, 2022; there are currently 3,111 active COVID-19 cases statewide. Additionally, nine deaths have been reported since the last report, with a total of 7,201 deaths attributed to COVID-19. DHHR has confirmed the deaths of a 71-year-old male from Barbour County, a 72-year-old male from Kanawha County, a 58-year-old male from Randolph County, an 84-year-old female from Mason County, a 97-year-old female from Braxton County, a 97-year old male from Mercer County, a 66-year old male from Monroe County, a 91-year old female from Lincoln County, and an 80-year old female from Ohio County.
