Dozens of law enforcement, family and friends paid tribute Saturday to the life of Polk County Sheriff’s Sgt. Barry Henderson who passed away last Tuesday at the age of 50 after a month’s long battle with COVID. The long procession of vehicles left First Baptist Church of Cedartown and headed North on U.S. 27 to Rome Memorial Park for his burial. Dozens of residents lined the road to pay tribune to Henderson and his family for his years of service to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
